Start Your Journey…

We are thrilled that you are taking that first step in learning about the midwifery model of care, and would love to be a part of your journey. As midwives, our philosophy is deeply rooted in the idea that birth is a normal, natural physiologic process. We champion every woman’s innate wisdom and ability to birth her baby naturally and safely, as each pregnancy and birth is unique, special and beautiful!

Whether you are interested in a birth center or home birth, care with a licensed midwife is a safe and conscientious choice for New Orleans Families.

Feel free to contact us at any stage in your pregnancy to meet with one of our licensed midwives. During our initial consultation, we review the typical schedule of visits, routine medical testing and how we manage complications. Our clients enjoy the benefits of both individualized care and classes in a group setting where you have the opportunity to form lasting friendships with other growing families.

Congratulations on your growing family!

Education

Education is an important part of the midwifery model of care. During our prenatal visits, we talk at length about routine lab tests, ultrasounds, newborn procedures and planning for your birth. We encourage childbirth education classes and are big fans of doulas!
